End of Term Dates

Can you believe that we are nearly finished Term 1? This means your school holidays are not too far away! No doubt you will have a lot of things planned for your Autumn break...going to your friends house trips to the beachtrips to grandparentstidying your room - and finding school library books!Last day for issues - Wednesday 6th April Returns Competition begins Monday 11th - 13th April. Maybe your class will win!

Each of the 50 winning entrants will receive $50 in Booksellers Tokens and their very own copy of the collection of winning entries- professionally published/illustrated! Want to be a PUBLISHED author?

Well here is your chance! Are your dreams just like a movie? Just like being in the cinema? Put your ideas on paper (or computer -of course!) and enter into the New Zealand Post Children's Book Awards. Here are some guidelines and rules at a glance: The competition is open to Y1 -8The entry must be a story, poem or piece of creative writing- no longer than 300 wordsEntries may be hand written or typed- but easily readableYou can enter as many times as you like- one entry form per story enteredEntries must be delivered, postmarked or uploaded no later than 30th April 2011
